Archives and manuscripts

The archives and manuscript collections of the Gothenburg University Library Manuscripts Section and KvinnSam include materials from private individuals and various associations - letters, journals, photographs and handwritten records. Among the oldest items are our antique papyri, and a number of Medieval manuscripts written on parchment. Many of our archives and manuscripts can be found through the Alvin database, as well as in card catalogues and inventories available at the Humanities Library.
